Here are some answers to possible questions. If you have more questions, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, where we look forward to hearing from you.
Where and when are your events held?
Generally, our readings are at the Steinfeld Warehouse Community Arts Space, 101 W 6th St, on the northern edge of downtown Tucson, on Sixth St just east of Stone Ave. However, stay tuned to our events page, because sometimes we move around, in order to serve particular events and audiences better. We have approximately one reading a month from October through May, and most readings are on Saturday nights at 7pm.
Do you charge admission for your readings?
We ask general attendees for $5 at the door, and charge $3 for students. You can pay by cash or card. However, we will never turn anyone away. All of us need poetry and art.
Can I help POG in some way?
Of course! POG always looks for talented interns and volunteers to help set up readings, manage the sound recordings, work on our web site, help with grant writing, and contact presenters. In addition, you might be a good candidate for our board of directors. We also welcome contributions to help with our mission. Please visit our Support Page to make a donation.
