Here are some answers to possible questions. If you have more questions, email us at, where we look forward to hearing from you.

Where and when are your events held?

Generally our readings are at 101 W Sixth St, on the northern edge of downtown Tucson, on Sixth St just east of Stone Ave. However, stay tuned to our events page, because sometimes we move around, in order to serve particular events and audiences better. We have approximately one reading a month from October through May, and most readings are on Saturday nights at 7pm. In fall 2018, readings are Oct 13, Nov 10, and Dec 8.

Do you charge admission for your readings?

We ask for $5 at the door, for our readings. However, we prefer not to turn anyone away. All of us need poetry and art.

Can I help POG in some way?

Of course! POG always looks for talented interns to help set up readings, manage the sound recordings, work on our web site, help with grant writing and contacts with presenters. In addition, you might be a good candidate for our Directors group. We also welcome contributions to help with our mission. Please visit our Support page to make a donation.
